More Tips On Adding Pizzazz To Your Disney Scrapbook Layout
Adding some extra interest to your Disney scrapbooking layout does not have to be complicated nor time consuming.
Here are a few ideas to add that extra bit of pizzazz to your page:
1 If you have lots of photos of a particular occasion that you cannot fit all onto one page then create a mini concertina book. A mini concertina book is a great way to add extra photos of your special occasion on your Disney scrapbook layout.
2 Use a ruler to burnish along edges and create neat creases in you paper.
3 Before adhering the patterned paper to your cardboard, butt the two pieces of cardboard together and secure with a piece of removable sticky tape so that the cardboard doesn’t slip out of place.
4 If you don’t have ink handy you can apply paint. Just dip a dry brush gently into the paint and rub it against the edges of the paper. By experimenting with combs and scourers you can also achieve interesting effects.
5 Creating an interesting effect with no-so-good photos is not a hard thing to achieve. A mosaic effect is a great way to incorporate these photos onto your Disney scrapbook page. Just crop these photos into squares (the same size) and then attach then to your layout to form your mosaic. In keeping with the mosaic theme instead of squares use hand – cut circular tiles of colored paper to add interest.
6 You can create your own specially designed iron on transfers with specially treated transfer paper that is compatible with your printer. After printing your design onto the paper the design is cut from the sheet and transferred to your Disney scrapbook layout with an iron. This is great with customized alphabets, heading and even photos.
